Here are some stanza snippets from my two published books: 

I am now awakening 

To the force inside me, 

To the universe around me, 

Inside me. 

I can taste the stars 

On the tips of my fingers

Weaving my story through 

Them as I create 

Every 

Moment.

This world

Wasn’t created 

For you. 

You were 

Designed to 

Create 

It. 

Power resides

In vestiges

Of your matter

That no one 

Else knows. 

Throw the world

To the ground—

Smother in dirt 

The lies disguised 

As truth.

We don’t look up,

We don’t look down—

The world is 

Pinpointed on a 

Single dot of

Light in the distance.

Winter is dying.

Frozen, yet incomplete,

The sun pushes its

Rays into every unseen

Icy crevice to continue

The expenditure of time.

Cool air

Constant motion

Cumulonimbus 

Decadent sky

            Brandished with

            Converging dark

            Black stratus 

Clouds shifting

Splintered sun

In and out

--Afternoon Sky

Acorns fearlessly plunge 

Down to the feeding ground 

Of hungry squirrels—

Nature’s cycle continuing. 

A shrill blue jay call

Reaches sharp hummingbird chirps

Which mingle with a 

Chattering chipmunk’s cry

An unending symphony.
