Freelance Editing

I have been a freelance editor for a little over 10 years now. I've worked on countless manuscripts of all different styles and genres. Fiction novels, self-help/informational nonfiction, memoirs, poetry, etc. If you are interested in having your manuscript edited, see my current rates below. 

I acknowledge that everyone's writing style, ability, and needs are different, so I am flexible with pricing. 

General price: $30/hr. 

Style Breakdown: 

• Developmental Editing - looking at overall style, flow, character development, content, etc. - $0.018 per word. 
• Line Editing - looking at grammar, punctuation, syntax, etc. - $0.014 per word. 
• Proofreading - the final pass of a clean manuscript - $0.01 per word.
